Rural and Remote Referral Program

Terms and conditions:

  • The Rural & Remote Referral Bonus will run from 12:00 AM 1/12/2017, with the final date to meet all campaign requirements being 11:59 PM 31/12/2018
  • The referred candidate must be a Registered Midwife (RM), Nurse (RN), Assistant in Nursing (AN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN), and a new candidate, who hasn’t been previously introduced to, or worked for Healthcare Australia or any of its associated brands
  • The referred candidate must mention your name at their interview for our record keeping purposes and validity of the referral, later notification of the referral may result in the reward not being offered
  • You will receive a $500 Gift Card, and the referee will receive a $200 Gift Card, once your referred candidate successfully completes a Rural & Remote contract of 6 or more weeks before the 31st December 2018.

VICTORIA

  • $250 cash bonus for referring a Nurse to work in Victoria. Referrer receives $250 in their pay run if all of the following terms and conditions are satisfied. Offer ends 31st March 2018

Terms and conditions:

  • These loyalty scheme runs from 1st January 2018 – 31st March 2018
  • Referred candidate must work all shifts with the HCA Victoria team
  • The referred candidate must be a new candidate, who hasn’t been previously introduced to, or worked for Healthcare Australia or any of its associated brands
  • The referred candidate must mention your name at their interview for our record keeping purposes and validity of the referral, later notification of the referral may result in the reward not being offered
  • The reward is offered once your referred candidate works 15 shifts within 3 months of their orientation through HCA
  • You must be an active employee at the time of making the referral, and also at the time that you and the referred candidate complete the required 15 shifts to be eligible to receive the reward
  • Subject to state participation. All 15 shifts must be worked in the same state (not a mix of states)
  • All referral rewards are at the discretion of HCA

WA only – Nurses referring Nurses

Do you know a nurse (RN, Midwife or EEN) who would like to work for us? Let us know and you could earn great rewards!

If you are employed by HCA, you and your referred candidate could earn $200 Gift Cards in Western Australia.

  • This loyalty scheme runs from 1st January 2018
  • The referred candidate must be a new candidate, who hasn’t been previously introduced to, or worked for Healthcare Australia or any of its associated brands
  • The referred candidate must mention your name at their interview for our record keeping purposes and validity of the referral, later notification of the referral may result in the reward not being offered
  • The reward is offered once you and your referred candidate work just 15 shifts within 2 months of their orientation through HCA
  • You must be an active employee at the time of making the referral, and also at the time that you and the referred candidate complete the required 15 shifts to be eligible to receive the reward
  • All 15 shifts must be worked in WA (not a mix of states)

Terms and conditions:

  • The Refer a Full-time Nurse or Midwife campaign will run from 12:00 AM 29/08/2017 and 31/12/2018 11:59pm (AEST).
  • The referred candidate must be a new candidate, eligible to work as a Nurse, Midwife, Clinical Coder and Health Information Manager, who hasn’t been previously introduced to or worked for Healthcare Australia or any of its associated brands
  • The referred candidate must mention your name at their interview for our record keeping purposes and validity of the referral, later notification of the referral may result in the reward not being offered
  • You will receive a $500 Gift Card, once your referred candidate is placed into a permanent role and commences work successfully for 13 weeks or more
  • Work must be in NSW, QLD, WA, VIC, SA, NT. Excludes CSSD Technicians, Anaesthetic Technicians, AINs and Support Workers
  • All referral rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • Defence Health and Rural and Remote Contract employees are not eligible for this promotion.

Joining/Re-Joining Bonus

^Joining/Re-joining Bonus for Nurses and Midwives – Victoria only

Nurses and Midwives only – Joining/Re-Joining Bonus available between 10/11/2017 12:00am (AEST) and 31/04/2018 11:59pm (AEST). 

Nurses and Midwives receive $250 in their pay run when they register and work a minimum of 10 shifts with HCA within the first 4 weeks of activation e.g. if you register on the 20th November, you must complete shifts by 20th December.

  • Bonus cannot be accumulated in addition to any other bonus. This is inclusive, and not limited to, the referral bonus
  • Offer available to new and re-joining Nurses and Midwives. If you have been deactivated within the last 4 weeks of the campaign starting because your competencies weren’t up to date, you are not eligible to receive the bonus
  • The reward is offered once you work a minimum of 10 shifts with HCA within the first 4 weeks of joining/re-joining
  • Notify your consultant once you have worked 10 shifts, so we can allocate the bonus to you in your pay run
  • Shifts must be worked in VIC
  • Excludes CSSD Technicians, Anaesthetic Technicians, PCAs and Support Workers
  • Defence Health and Rural & Remote new or re-joining Nurses and Midwives are not eligible for this promotion
  • All rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • HCA reserves the right to extend or end this promotion at any time.

Allied Joining Bonus

Bonus rewards are available to Allied Health Professionals joining between 01/02/2018 12:00am (AEST) and 01/02/2019 11:59pm (AEST).

Joining Bonus of $500 available to Allied Health workers who meet the following criteria:

Locum

  • Bonus points cannot be accumulated in addition to any other bonus. This is inclusive, and not limited to, the referral bonus
  • Work 8 weeks of Locum placements within the first 12 months of joining
  • Locum placements can take place at one or multiple facilities to be eligible for Joining Bonus
  • Can only be claimed once within a 12 month period
  • All referral rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • HCA reserves the right to extend or end this promotion
  • Defence Health employees not eligible for this promotion.

Permanent

  • Bonus points cannot be accumulated in addition to any other bonus. This is inclusive, and not limited to, the referral bonus
  • Take on a Permanent placement through Allied Health recruitment
  • Joining Bonus will be provided once the individual passes 3 months probation period
  • All referral rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • HCA reserves the right to extend or end this promotion
  • Defence Health employees not eligible for this promotion.

Valentine’s Day, the month of “Love” – Joining/Re-Joining Bonus

Joining Bonus Nurses and Midwives – All Australia

Nurses and Midwives only – Joining bonus available between 14/02/208 12:00am (AEST) and 29/02/2018 11:59pm (AEST).

Nurses and Midwives receive $250 in their next pay run when they register and work 10 shifts with HCA within 2 months of their initial registration of interest e.g if you register your interest on the 20th Feb, you must complete shifts by 20th April.

  • Bonus cannot be accumulated in addition to any other bonus. This is inclusive, and not limited to, the referral bonus
  • Offer available to new and re-joining Nurses and Midwives. If you have been deactivated within the last four weeks of the campaign starting because your competencies weren’t up to date, you are not eligible to receive the bonus
  • The reward is offered once you work 10 shifts with HCA within 2 months of joining/re-joining
  • Notify your consultant once you have worked 10 shifts, so we can allocate the bonus to you in your pay run
  • All rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • HCA reserves the right to extend or end this promotion
  • Work must be in NSW, QLD, WA, VIC, SA, NT and Rural and Remote Locations
  • Excludes CSSD Technicians, Anaesthetic Technicians, AINs and Support Workers
  • Excludes Theatre Nurses in NSW – Separate Joining Bonus for Theatre Nurses below
  • Defence Health employees are not eligible for this promotion
  • Rural and Remote workers must begin a +6 week contract within the first 2 months of their registration, and see the contract through to completion, to be eligible to receive the $250 bonus.

Month of “love” – Joining/Re-Joining Bonus – Theatre Nurses NSW 

Joining Bonus for Theatre Nurses in NSW

Theatre Nurses in NSW only – Joining bonus available between 1/02/2018 12:00am (AEST) and 28/02/2018 11:59pm (AEST).

Theatre Nurses receive a $250 gift voucher when they register and work 15 shifts with HCA within 3 months of their initial registration of interest e.g if you register your interest on the 20th Feb, you must complete shifts by 20th May.

BONUS: Receive a $250 gift voucher + $150 dinner voucher if you join as a theatre nurse in February and take up 15 shifts in the next 3 months in the Western Sydney area, inclusive of Bankstown, Western Local Health District, Westmead, Liverpool, and Campbelltown.

  • Bonus cannot be accumulated in addition to any other bonus. This is inclusive, and not limited to, the referral bonus
  • Offer available to new theatre nurses working in NSW. If you have been deactivated within the last four weeks of the campaign starting because your competencies weren’t up to date, you are not eligible to receive the bonus
  • The reward is offered once you work 15 shifts with HCA within 3 months of joining/re-joining
  • Notify your consultant once you have worked 15 shifts, so we can allocate the bonus to you in your pay run
  • All rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • HCA reserves the right to extend or end this promotion
  • Work must be in NSW
  • Excludes CSSD Technicians, Anaesthetic Technicians, AINs and Support Workers
  • Defence and Rural & Remote employees are not eligible for this promotion.

NSW Rural & Remote - $1,000 Placement Bonus

  • Receive a $1,000 Bonus for all NSW Rural and Remote placements applied for AND begin between 12:00am 01/03/2018 and 11:59pm 31/05/2018
  • Must begin an 8+ week Rural & Remote placement during the promotion period to be eligible
  • For candidates who have a contract secured prior to promotion start, if a placement extension OR new placement of 6+ weeks is secured during the promotion period, the candidate will be eligible for the bonus
  • Bonus will only be paid on successful completion of your contract
  • Bonus can only be redeemed once per candidate during the promotion period
  • All rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • HCA reserves the right to extend or end this promotion.
  • Normal PAYG tax applies to bonus.

Competitions

Battle of the States Competition – Win a Go Pro Hero 5 – The closing date has been extended until the end of April!

Open to all Nurses and Midwives – Competition begins Monday 5/03/2018 12.00am (AEST) and the closing date has been extended to Monday 30/04/2018 11.59pm (AEST) – no entries will be received after this date.

How to Enter:

Nurses and Midwives to submit a 30 sec – 45 sec video featuring iconic landmarks, Aussie lifestyle, beautiful sceneries in Australia. We’re looking for video entries which best explains and highlights why your fellow nurses living overseas or interstate should come to your own town, city or state to explore and work. You must send the video to marketing@healthcareaustralia.com.au. The winner will be chosen based on creativity and portrayal of nursing in Australia in the video and will receive a Go Pro Hero 5 valued at $400.

  • ‘Battle of the States’ Competition is open to all nurses (all specialities) and midwives in Australia or living in Australia from overseas
  • HCA reserves the right to cancel, extend or end this promotion
  • All rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason
  • HCA will notify the winner via social media in the first week of May to discuss how the prize will be delivered.
  • The entrants agree to the use of his/her name, image and video footage submitted in any publicity material/marketing promotion
  • One entry per person
  • HCA will choose the winner based on creativity and portrayal of nursing in Australia in the video
  • The Go Pro Hero 5 is not transferable for cash or gift vouchers
  • HCA’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered
  • Go Pro Hero 5 is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute with another prize at the equivalent value without notice
  • If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

 

Operation Walk Ireland Joining Bonus

Joining Bonus

Nurses and Midwives from Operation Walk Ireland (OWI) are eligible for a $200AUD Agency Nurse Joining bonus with an additional $50AUD donated to OWI until the 31st December 2018.

  • This incentive is only available to Registered Nurses who have not previously worked for HCA. You must be eligible to work in Australia as a Registered Nurse and register with HCA as an Agency Registered Nurse (if you are unsure about the process please contact your local HCA office who will assist you in being work ready before you leave for Australia)
  • To qualify for this incentive the claimant must work for HCA as an Agency Registered Nurse, anywhere across Australia for a minimum of 15 shifts within a 3 month period of their first shift date with HCA, completing your first shift for HCA by 23:59 AEST 31st December 2018.
  • The candidate must mention OWI your name at the time of submitting their CV for our record keeping purposes, later notification of the referral may result in the reward not being offered
  • Notify the International HCA team once you have worked 15 shifts
  • This promotion is NOT available to Enrolled Nurses, CSSD Technicians, Anaesthetic Technicians, PCAs and Support Workers
  • All rewards are at the discretion of HCA
  • HCA reserves the right to cancel, extend or end this promotion
  • HCA has no obligation to claimants who do not comply with these terms and conditions or to any claimant who does not adhere to the dates of the incentive

Inactive Nursing & Midwifery Survey Competition

This survey opens on Tuesday 10th April 2018. Only Nurses & Midwives that have previously worked with Healthcare Australia in the last 3 years, and are now considered Inactive (have not worked for more than 6 months) can participate in this survey. To be eligible to win 1 of 3 $250 Visa Gift Cards you must complete the survey and submit your name by 11:59pm, Sunday 22nd April 2018.

To be eligible to win, you must complete all mandatory questions. The winners will be chosen based on their successful completion of this criteria and the best answers to the question “Lastly, what is your best piece of advice for other Nurses/Midwives?”

The winners will be contacted the following week. All rewards are at the discretion of HCA.
