The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a innovative new way of funding disability services and supports in Australia. The NDIS will also provide ongoing financial support for the estimated 460,000 Australians with significant and permanent disability.
HCA Home & Community is now an NDIS Provider. We adopt a person centred approach in service delivery and works closely with our Participants to identify, develop and achieve their personal goals. Each person’s goals are different, so our dedicated team work side by side with our Participants, their family and advocates in a collaborative approach to seek out and deliver best possible outcomes for an inclusive and fulfilling lifestyle.
We currently offer NDIS services in all metropolitan areas of Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide and regional cities of Geelong, Western Victoria, Newcastle, Parramatta, Hunter, Wollongong and Freemantle. The NDIS is not available everywhere, yet. The scheme has been rolled out in stages, because it’s a big change and it needs to be right and sustainable for everyone.

Our reputation for quality means that we recruit and retain experienced, reliable and compliant Support Workers, Disability Carers and Nursing staff; which work across a diverse range of Public, Private and NGO organisations across Australia.
At HCA Home & Community our staff are subjected to a robust recruitment and selection process including, in-depth interviews, competency assessments, comprehensive referencing, National Police checks and Working With Children Checks. All staff under-go mandatory training including manual handling, first aid and basic life support and medication administration along with a thorough induction program.
Participants Rights and Considerations
NDIS participants have the right to access a Nominated Support Person to act for them or support them in arranging this service. Due to privacy reasons, the participant will be required to complete a form providing us with permission to include the Nominate Support Person in discussions with you about this service.
We will provide all information to the participant or nominated person in order to make an informed choice when selecting services.
