Allied Health Professionals

As a Doctor or Medical Officer, you will contribute to the physical and mental health of your patients. Mental Health Workers

  • Recruiting: Psychologists and Social Workers

As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be looking after the psychological wellbeing of ADF personnel. Your day-to-day duties as a Psychologist or Social Worker may include counselling, selection interviewing, critical incident health support, post-operational screening, clinical assessments and intervention, mental health research and occupational analysis.

Work as a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with a Job in Defence Health

Nurses including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs)

  • Recruiting: Registered Nurses with Emergency, Perioperative and Intensive Care nursing qualifications and Acute Care Enrolled Nurses

You can expect to work in units within field hospitals that provide a comprehensive hospital service or in small Treatment Teams providing primary healthcare and immediate pre-hospital resuscitation.
